HBO Penguins and Capitals 24/7

Anyone else watching?

I think it's great. Several behind-the-scenes NHL documentaries have been good, and cover pretty much the base of what HBO has covered thus far, but it seems to go that extra step of trying to cover everything. Especially the Penguins player reviews.

Only one episode has released so far, so the direction can certainly change, but the contrast between the two teams is fascinating.

I don't think the Penguins mentioned Washington once, but the Capitals had the Pens on their mind.

Despite having all the talent in the world, the cameras didn't show Ovechkin deserving the 'C' at all. He didn't step up in the locker room, instead he saved it for the ice, which hasn't worked this season. Certainly could've been the way it was edited, but there wasn't any indication who wore the 'C'.

Mike Green crying.

As much as it sucks, I'm very interested to see the tone of the Penguins next episode after a loss in Philly, and the vomit-inducing Chernobyl breakdown against the Rangers the next night.

I'm also interested to see if anything changes in the last two episodes after everyone has had a chance to watch the first episode.
