We're probably going to let the remainder of the RFA's roll out until signed or not (similar to the NHL, with their December 1st deadline). But, we might offer a discount for GMs to resign their RFA's if no one else signs them.
Pre-season will be fairly short, but I plan on their being one. I'd like to start the Regular Season close to Oct 7th, but there could be a give or take a week.
The portal is updated. All signings need to be confirmed on the board (http://brhl2.activeboard.com/forum.spark?aBID=85830&p=3&topicID=38073315), as explained in the rules for FA. There are a huge number of signings where teams are not following up on.
There are also "seasonal duplications" where players where a part of your team last year, but are not anymore, yet they still remain on your teams portal. This is because the portal likes to keep record of that player, so it keeps him on your team. As other GMs have notified me, please check the Errors thread (http://brhl2.activeboard.com/forum.spark?aBID=85830&p=3&topicID=37547892), and list them there.
In the mean time, I expect to outline the coaches process and have that be taken care of.
Also, prior to the Season starting, the waivers will go into affect. Which will follow the call up / demotion rules of the 20 man rosters for Free Agency.
