Because Kirk is lazy.... his current cap hit is $51,567,250..... which allows him to put a $6 million bid on niedermayer with a 3 million sb.... and as i can't access the player change requests, i'm assuming kirk has already submitted a player change request for Byfuglien to be changed to a blueliner (or else his 20 man roster is ineligible as he would only be carrying 5 dmen)
Though I might make the suggestion for the BRHL2 to adopt waivers during the offseason as I would think that Frazen, Klein and Seidenberg will definitely have been picked up....
And I would probably say that each team should have the salary next to the player for a final tally.... or else it looks like the team just pick out twenty guys without anyway for another gm to check on them...
