I think waivers are turned off for the playoffs (but the salary cap is still in place), but if a team is out of the playoffs, there's no need to call up anyone to the pro roster so you have to maintain the minimum pro roster team so you can't replace scrubs with pro roster guys....
plus the world championships start which mean that the players selected cannot be sent to the farm as they'll be playing elsewhere....
Well I kinda understand where this is coming from. I followed the normal waiver rules when it came to sending Quick and O'Sullivan to the farm team. I think this rule needs to apply still because I shouldnt be able to bring up Triston Grant and send down Bill Guerin.
