Last night the Flyers completed what they thought would be one of the bigger trades of the deadline, sending Marian Hossa off to Florida for Bryan Little, Andrei Kostitsyn, and 2nd, 4th, and 7th round picks.

The Flyers then quickly saw off Chris Drury, with a 2nd and 4th round pick for Tim Connolly. Connolly is expected to feather soft passes to Ovechkin for the considerable future, which keeps the strength of my team up the middle of the ice with Koivu and Kesler being unreal 2nd-3rd line C's next season.




The Flyers are rumoured not to be done, however, and are shopping some of the following:


If you want an UFA guy for this years cup run, ive got Bonk at C. he has an incredible faceoff rate and is essentially the best 3rd line C in the league -  seriously though, this guy sims soooo well, he would at least be worth an inquiry to me..

I also have available:
F. Brunnstrom - Has a 73 SC rating, minimum contract (for 3 years) and for next year, with 10 AHL games played this season, he will be able to go between your farm and pro rosters without having to be exposed to the waiver draft :)

D. Stafford - Not gonna sell low on this guy... his rates are very good across the board... he has more potential than any of these other young guys I'm shopping here today (just ask Burke, Poile, Lombardi, Wilson) Is already a top 6 NHL forward on his club, and has the potential to net 35+ G / year a few seasons from now...

A. Kostitsyn - 73 SC rate for this year (as well as crazy good peripheral rates like 74 CK, 88 SK, 77 PH! He is an NHL favourite of mine, and would be great for any teams future top-6 forwards...

P. Prucha - A nice 3rd/4th line winger that isnt just a checker or fighter. His 1.38 mil / year for this year and next actually is the exact same for a 5 year deal the following offseason!! So thats 7 years at 1.38 mil / year..... pretty nice

C. Pronger - Looking less and less likely to be dealt, the Flyers look to this guy every night, in every situation, and he still manages to never disappoint.

R. Luongo - Never deal a franchise 'tender unless you're certain of the value you get in return.... however, noone has been able to put together a package close to making me consider shuffling off OUR GOLD MEDAL WINNING STARTER! Am still taking youth offers but havent found one I like.
