Now about Doughty....I
have received a few inquiries, so I figured I would make my position clear.... I consider him to be one of the most valuable assets in the league. He is already (at least) a top-10 dman in the NHL, and he has 2 years left on his entry level deal.
I don't believe there is such a thing as an untradeable player. So, if you want Doughty, feel free to make an offer. But... If it doesn't hurt, don't bother. Seriously, if you don't feel ill while typing you aren't offering enough. I am talking another young star + a lot. I gave up 3 firsts to get him last year, and I consider that a bargain.
