Passing Of The Torch - Luongo

http://sports.espn.go.com/olympics/winter/2010/icehockey/columns/story?columnist=lebrun_pierre&id=4937591

So it has officially happened, in front of his home crowd and home nation cheering his every move, Robby Luongo has taken the torch from Marty Brodeur.

This HALL-OF-FAME Goaltender is available right now, and I'm not even asking for an arm and a leg.

Get back to me on website, PM, ICQ, or email.

Thanks,

Rex Leak

So, is the the press release or the trade block where we can't completly destroy someone's false claims to build up their player's value?

I can't remember which is which.

Its supposed to be the press releases i think, but my last one (about my ovechkin trade) had 24 replies to it... so either way...

this sounds like somebody with extremely sour grapes watching MA Fleury watch Luongo taking his RIGHTFUL place.... youve been reading too much scott burnside...

lol, either way anyone who wants luey is going to be getting a pretty good goalie, methinks.

GO LUEY AND GO CANADA

Don't be bitter because you dont have an NHL goalie Bryce, or at least one that doesnt have to drink himself silly because he agreed to play in Edmonton!

Don't quit your day job as a psychologist. Everyone knows the 3rd goalie doesn't play, let alone in the knockout rounds.

I'm not bitter. Khaby is the same goalie who said he put vodka in his water bottle some games in Winnipeg, I'm not surprised, more mocking Rex

I just dont see how its Luongo's rightfull place.

Maybe if the olympics were like the regular season, yeah sure go with Luongo. He dominates then. The playoffs.....not so much.

Fleury has been the best postseason/clutch goalie the past two seasons. The fact that he isn't even getting a shot is fine with me, because I'm rooting against Canada.

And dont even start with the whole world junior's thing from 7 years ago. Brodure's ground ball single up the middle was much more damaging than Fleury's gaffe, and that was forever ago.

It is the trade block that you can't trash a guys players. Press releases are fair game.

;)

You are never out of the running if you have a Tanaka playing center for you.
