Elite prospects and Hockey's Future lists Ebbett's birthplace as Vernon, though The Hockey News, TSN and hockeydb lists him being born in Calgary....

nhl.com says that he was born in Calgary, home town of Vernon....

I think we'll need a ruling of who to trust

We'll go with nhl.com and tsn.ca. He was born in Calgary. Team BC must revise appropriately.

Wow.. I was just doing what Bryce told me.. I spent a good 10 hours putting the list together for him.. if you are doing that then you might as well toss all that work out the window

To be fair, Ebbett is listed on BC's choice of players instead of Alberta's....

or you could relax and realize there was a small error made. Nobody is saying the work you did wasn't thorough or appreciated.

The reality is Ebbett was born in Calgary and according to the standard being used, should be available to Alberta.

Sorry but I really don't see where the issue is here.

Hey man,

I am sure all your work is still valid. All you gotta do is name one more forward and remove Ebbet from your list.

We are doing this based on birthplace, and it seems that from the most reliable sources (as far as I am concerned) he is not eligible for your team.

Sorry, but please name another player.

In the mean time I'm gonna get things started with you only having 11 forwards so that we can actually start this tourney. Please give me the name of the new guy as soon as possible.
