I know this deviates from what we've done in the past. But next year I have a suggestion about the selection process.
Since we go by birth places. What if we allowed Countries who have players who play for different teams in real life, to select those players only if the birth place country doesn't select them.
The amount of times that this would happen wouldn't be often, but could help a few teams out..?
Example:
Paul Stastny, born in Quebec, but plays for team USA in real life. If Team Quebec didn't select him, then team USA could.
Thoughts?
P.S. I thought I'd let you know that this isn't a ploy to use the example to my advantage. I don't think I would've selected Stastny this time. But in the future, who knows.

bryce had asked me if I wanted to take Team Canada (whom I am cheering for this Olympics) because I had turned on Team USA - which I usually cheer for - and I now was a traitor to him... even though I was born in Alberta... lol.
anyways Id be thrilled to still do this and Ill start working on a team right now.... Ive got from now until Monday off of work, so its a hockey weekend!!
