Rumors in Phoenix papers this morning are suggesting that the Coyotes management may indeed be quietly shopping the Finnish Flash (though, it may not be so quiet now).

What is suspicious is that the the 'Yotes are reportedly seeking youth/picks for the talented sniper.  It is not clear why the Coyotes would be looking to move Selanne while they are right in the thick of the playoff battle in the Western Conference.  Perhaps there is more happening behind the scenes in Phoenix that management is letting on.

It is reported that the Coyotes have been considering a shakeup to their top 2 lines, and maybe they have an option to bring in a new player, and that moving Selanne might be needed to make room for this potential newcomer.

For now this is all speculation but often, where there is smoke, there is fire...
