The United States hockey team was able to beat the expectations of most people by making it all the way to the championship game.

GM of Team USA had this to say about the experience; "To be honest getting past Team Ontario was quite shocking. The sheer offensive talent that team has can be staggering. But, I was extremely pleased with how well our team played as a team, stuck to the game plan and came out on top. It's the type of game you can't be happier watching as a GM. When all the pieces come together to mold the team you put together, it was a treat."

"I think that the way Thomas McCollum played in net was spectacular. He kept us in every game and I really think he was key to our success. Brandon Sutter, Patrick Kane and Zach Bogosian played at a top level too. They will be on my radar for a long time."

When asked about future endeavor's: "I can confirm that the directors of U.S. Hockey have asked be to stay on for the BRHL Olympics. I can also confirm that I've accepted the position as I've been looking forward to the opportunity for a few years. I feel I have the same ability to create some more magic and impress a few more people out there.

I can also guarantee that my USA Olympic team will fare better than the Burke/Low attempt. You can take that to the bank."
