Team USA Roster announced

After much deliberation the United States have named their WJC roster.

Center:

Brandon Sutter
CJ Stretch
Colin Wilson
David Wohlberg
Philip McRae

Left Wing:
AJ Jenks
Jordan Schroeder
Tyler Murovich
Jck Connolly
Justin Florek

Right Wing:

Aaron Palushaj
Patrick Kane
Ryan Jasinsky
Nick Palmeri

Defense:
Chris Wideman
David Warsofsky
Frank Grzeszczak
Jake Gardiner
John Carlson
Tom Michalik
Tyler Myers
Zach Bogosian

Goalies:
Thomas McCollum
Mike Clemente
Connor Knapp

As always, there were some tough decisions. As Philip McRae's two way play and grit gave him the slightest edge over Mitch Wahl. And defenseman Beau Schmitz was left off the roster in favor of an additional forward.

Wouldnt Sutter, Myers and Bogosian be all classified as Canadian as they do have dual citizenship yes however I know for a fact Myers and Sutter have both played for Canada and Im pretty sure Bogosian has as well and by IIHF rules they are only ever allowe dto remain with team Canada and cant change to the USA

BRHL Eligibility is based on birthplace.

You're correct that Myers and Sutter bother played for Canada. But Bogosian has played for the U.S.

It was done originally to keep Brett Hull in his place.
