I just noticed a few teams are below the salary floor right now, I assume it might be because of recent trades, but just wanted to see if it is being monitored.
Also, I noticed BUF is projected to be bankrupt by season's end. Better get your **** together Luke!
I know I'm below the floor but there isn't much I can do about it, Boucher got hurt and it automatically takes his salary off the payroll with out me asking him to go on IR, and there is no way I can call up enough players to cover his 8mil in salary, and I don't think I should have to try and trade for 8mil in salary and lose the assets when I'm rebuilding when his salary was taken off the payroll without me wanting it too.

Ah... weird, wonder if there is a setting we can implement so salary stays on the books unless a guy is put on IR... that's how it is supposed to work anyway I think...
There's an issue in the sim where it counts an injury and suspension as the same, and removes them from the salary. Since we've gone by the "suspended player's salary doesn't count" rule forever, it kinda throws a wrench in the system. I'll think of some details here shortly.

I don't want to try to get Rob in a bind, so I just want to mention that I don't agree with leniency for the floor but draconian rules for the cap.
The goal of the floor is to make guys try to put a competitive team on the ice. This action I have seen by some GMs of paying one guy $10,000,000 to be floor compliant is almost a reverse of circumventing the cap, it is realistically circumventing the floor.
I think the process of figuring it out should include looking at the goal of the floor and what teams can do to keep compliant long term, rather than hugely overpaying a guy or two just to make it over, which allows them to continue to rebuild, without giving up assets to acquire salary.
I just want to ensure we keep balance on the rules on both ends.

George, by BRHL2 rules, Rob is not under the floor. But given the way that the sim displays injured players salaries, he appears under the floor. Thus the leniency with the issue.
