Outshooting the Sabres 44-31 and allowing no goals in 5-5 situations, Philly coach Ron Wilson was pleased with his teams first regular season performance. "We could've used a little more physicality, seeing as how that team is built with a bunch of sissies, but overall I was pleased they couldnt score on us 5-5, Joni beat Iginla up badly so the refs had to kick him from the game, and Luey looked great as usual."

However, the Flyers GM Rex Leak has said that he is unpleased with his 3rd-4th lines this season and is willing to move out a goalie to get that done. Expect changes in Philadelphia in the coming weeks.


You don't think you could write a completely ignorant article and not get a response. Firstly, Scoreboard: Sabres 1 cup Philly 0. Sabres 2 playoff victories against, Philly 0 against Sabres.

Secondly, if you actually read the play by play it says "fought to a draw". I'm assuming if that little girl Pitkanen actually got tossed it's because he was trying to bite or pull hair in the fight.

Thirdly, Go tell Shea Weber, Dustin Brown, Jarome Iginla, Adam Pardy, Devin Setoguchi, and JRthat they are pussies.

Fourthly, You have a team that boasts the most homoerotic players in the whole league in the Sedin Sisters. Your only players with toughness are Pronger, Stortini, and Neil. 

I have no problem you beating me in the season opener- big deal. Just dont bring smack when you roll over every post season and have the team filled with the most "sissies" in the league.

just was trying to bait you into writing your own article for the mainpage..... but thats always hard to do after a crushing loss....

i just assumed that iginla got his ass beat down because he couldnt beat up pitkanen, with plenty of guys like stortini, neil, girardi, pronger, ondrus more than willing to challenge him. Iggy went after a middleweight when he could've had a real dance..


And don't you think it hurts me to have assets like Edler, Luongo, and the Sedin sisters??? I hate any players i have that are canuckleheads or flamers, but oh well its STHS..

P.S. Edler gets his first start on Game Day 9 in place of David Hale.
