Confirmation of player eligibility

I read the rules quickly, but could have missed it.

If I draft Cody Hodsgon for this year, he plays for me based on last year's stats.  If by chance he makes the Canucks in the NHL out of camp, I would lose him from my roster for next season.

Correct?

correct, our first season will be based on 08-09 stats. So Taveres, Hodgson etc... would all be in our league. If they play less than 10 junior games next season (presumably in NHL). They would not have ratings for our second season and would either have to be given 25 ratings and eat a spot on your 40 man roster, or their rights released.

2nd question....ratings across leagues.

Here is a little example.

Joe Cannata G NCAA .918 SV% and 2.35 GAA

vs

Chet Pickard G WHL .921 SV% and 2.28 GAA

With a big swing in their ratings.......

Can I get some clarity as to how they are going to be rated in the future? Is this an oddity?

What about good players that aren't rated? Ineligible? (For example a few good NCAA guys are out there.)

The swing in the ratings woudl be respective to their leagues and the GPG that each league averaged. Also factored in is the competition level of each league, which is built into all goalies and players.

All NCAA players from the big 3 conferences were rated. If you have specific players from other conferences you want to be able to draft post them in the other thread, and they will be draft eligible. Otherwise, they are not.
