How is income determined in the STHS? I had assumed that it would be purely based on ticket sales, however, looking at the test seasons, even if I had been selling out every game, my revenues per game would have only been $1.25M per game... I was at about 90% capacity, yet my average revenues were slightly over $1.26M per game...
I've quickly looked at the STHS manual and didn't see anything in there about finances. Does each team get a based amount for TV revenues or something? I'd like to know how we earn money.

I'm pretty sure most of the automatic revenue received in the sim is done through gate receipts. Through the STHS Client, you are able to price the different sections of your arena. There isn't a base ticket cost like the FHL Sim, you're able to set your pricing as you see fit.
I also don't know if Bryce accounted for the finance slider when he did the test sims.
In addition, there is an income divider option [ http://sths.simont.info/Manual_En.php#Income_Divider ]. But it appears to be a random generator when used to generate and assign TV rights money. I can check, but maybe it becomes less random at the end of a season when it has some data to base it's results on.
ALSO, if you fear of not being able to make money, Bryce or I usually have jobs looking to assign GMs for a cash reward. I don't expect to run into the potential financial problems we would've last year with the FHL Sim. If projections are wrong, we'll bring back the activity bonuses we used last year.

I have played with the sliders and have a good idea where they will be for the sims in order to get a rough revenue range. I'm of the belief that teams right at the cap should NOT be making much money at all, and will need playoff revenue to ensure a healthy profit My target gate receipt average is about 1.37 million per team, which I know where have the slider with the default ticket sales. Any adjustmenst to pricing can help or hurt the GM and to be honest, I haven't played with that aspect yet.
