I'm not sure if it's #2, but it probably is. Anyways, this post was also e-mailed. If you did not receive the e-mail, let me know.
Hey guys.
As the off-season is starting to get going and events are starting to happen we feel it's best to keep you up to date on some important information.
- First and foremost, the site and league e-mail have both changed. The site is the BRHL2 Web Portal which can be found at http://brhlhockey.com/brhl2/ and the new league e-mail is brhl2@brhlhockey.com. You'll notice that the e-mail is at the bottom of each page on the new site. The previous BRHL2 site will remain up for a bit, but in the future could be removed. The information there is only for reference as going forward, everything new will on the BRHL2 Web Portal. The e-mail address (brhlhockey@yahoo.com) will likely cease to exist in the next few weeks. So it is strongly advised that you update your bookmarks and address books / contacts. http://brhlhockey.com will be a BRHL menu that will contain links to each league, so if you're in a pinch, that address will help you find what you're looking for.
- Please get yourself accustomed to the new site and all it's features so that by the time trading opens, the draft happens, free agency occurs and the season begins you're familiar enough to run your team effectively. Bryce and I are here to answer your questions that you might have regarding the site, as well as there are some instructional news articles posted with details of "how to" features.
-The BRHL2 Entry Draft has concrete dates of June 18 and 19. We will be splitting the draft up into two days. June 18 will consist of rounds 1 & 2, while June 19 will be rounds 3-7. Further details on where, when and how will be made available on the BRHL2 Message Board shortly.
There is more information coming down the pipe, so keep your eyes and ears open and don't forget to check the message board for further info.
Thanks. -Eric

Any decision on the depth chart function on the site? I know the OV is the issue, but for those of us veterans we don't rely just on that ranking. I don't care if its listed, but I do know I use this page all the time in other STHS leagues I'm in. Its a great way to quickly get a look at your entire teams assets.
The depth chart issue is also important to me. If possible, it sure would be nice to have. Also, the coach I was bidding on got a new bid, but he is now totally disappeared so I can't reup my bid.
Any idea when the draft will start? Since we're only doing 2 rounds, would it be possible to allow people in the west to get home from work ects. I normally get home around 6-6:30. Anyone on the west coast who doesn't get off work to 5 or 6?
In our previous drafts, the 1st round has taken roughly 35-45 minutes.
Ideally a start around 6 or 7 Pacific and 9-10 ET would be great. I'm sure we'd be done by 11:30 ET if we started at 10 ET.
Thanks!

The 18th is fine but many of us go away for the weekends and the 19th certainly is not good. Can we reconsider this and move it to the 17th and 18th instead. It is important for me to be around for the draft.

more than likely start time would be 9pm EST... Date I'll have to wait for Eric to chime in. But I wont be around on the 17th. Unless I want divorced that is, wife's bday.
took us 2 horus for 140 picks in BRHL Europe (except when I had a ton of lists then it only took an hour). There is 217 in our entry draft. I think 4 hours should get it done. Teams would have to be aware that a strict timelimit would be in effect, and it would just proceed if the team hadnt selected.
