Update

We're fixing a few problems within the site. If you havent received your login info to the page yet, please contact Rob or myself for it.

May 31st is deadline for GM's to join. RIght now we have 10 confirmed, and another 2 I think pretty much good to go. Ideally we'd hit 16 teams, but we will see.

What date would work best for everyone for the draft? We have June 10th as a guesstimate on the site, but we are flexible with that, lets hear what you guys wanna do.

Are we live, list, board for the draft?

Is it a set list or will we be selecting based on our own scouting?

Is there a list of free agency rules? If we own a player do we get their rights in perpetuity?

1. You know me by now, itll be live. probably 10 rounds per night for 5 nights, send in a proxy list with as detailed instructions as you woudl like.

2. Select based on your own scouting. You can take anyone as long as they are either 19 or older, or already drafted into the NHL.

3. I will have free agency rules up tonight. There will be movement in UFA.

will there be a master ratings list from us to work off of? I realllllly dont want to have to scout dozens of european leagues, I'd much rather build off the ratings.

June tenth and 5 nights after that are ok, as long as we dont draft on any nights there are finals games

There is already posted teh top 40 offensive forwards, top 40 offensive dmen, and top 20 goalies in games played from each of the four leagues, check out the unassigned list on the Europe page. I'll try and do a top 10 summary of a few other leagues Sloak Extraliga, DEL this week. Other than that I will just post the equivilency factor for other leagues. I dont want to create 800 extra guys that won't get drafted. PLUS you coudl draft Sidney Crosby if you wanted, he just woudlt play for you unless he played a year overseas.

Exactly, guys like he, Tellqvist etc who play there next year will be eligible in our second season in Europe, so where they go is half the strategy

If the draft starts on the 10th that Saturday night (the 13th ) will be a night off unless Bryce is around to run it.

and I would be unavail on the 15th. I believe it was John who said the 10th was no good.

Once we have the league finalized, we'll all powwow together to set up dates.

Thoughts about running the draft this way?

rounds 1-10 Sunday June 7 @ 8pm EST
rounds 11-20 Monday June 8 @ 8pm EST
rounds 21-30 Tuesday June 9 @ 8pm EST
rounds 31-40 Thursday June 11 @ 8pm EST
round 41-50 Friday June 12 @ 8pm EST

Entry draft we can schedule for a bit later in June.

Gee, Bryce.

I have a totally unprovoked question! What to the numbers under the position listing in the excell sheet represent?

You being all powerful, would never have asked me to post this question on the message board so you could answer it and make yourself feel smart.

:)
