Norris Trophy


I will be sending out awards ballots on Monday, so everyone has the weekend to bring their case forward for their players, and bump one of my top 5 for each category. Comments from the peanut gallery are more than welcome

Makes no sense to have three candidates from the same team.  If anything, it is hurting Chicago's chance of winning because obviously none of these guys is that valuable to their team if there are three nominees.  I suggest chosing no more than 1 player per team per award.

I would suggest Lidstrom gets a nomination just because his 65 points while being the offense and defense for an Anaheim team impressed me...

I tend to agree with Mr. Evans.  Lidstrom led the league in points for a defenceman on one of the worst teams in the league.  Surely he deserves some love!  Somehow he managed a -12 +/- on a team with 31% more goals against than for...

Well, I'm biased but, to me, it's a no-brainer. McCabe should be the easy choice. smile

no need to bring the bias into the argument...

mccabe by a country mile...

without him i doubt you'd be in the playoffs...

just a fantastic season
