Chicago Wolves (Atlanta' AHL squad) team lines for next year's STHS season

All these guys no longer qualify to stay on the prospects page and are created for next years STHS season.

Chicago WOLVES TEAM LINES

LW--C --RW

David Jones Kyle Chipchura Wayne Simmonds- G.M "Simmonds is going to be a beast of a player in a couple more years wait and watch, he will put up 25g-25as and be a great defensive penalty killer, and a banging winger, he is in the mold of fellow NHL LA King D.Brown. K.Chipchura has had problems making the jump to the NHL but his AHL stats have improved so hoping he's restored some offensive confidence as his defensive game never has been reason he hasnt stuck in NHL, D.Jones is a kid we really like for Colorado NHL he put up 8g-5as in 40 games or 16g-10as for full season, he is a winger who has some size/grit/finish, which the Avalanche lack in the NHL. So were hoping he continues to develop and could be a solid 2nd/3rd liner for them in the NHL."

Mike Santorelli Jim O'Brien Chris Bourque- G.M "J.Obrien is a kid were really high on after drafting last year, he has a solid two way game and is similar to a Mike Fisher in the NHL, C.Bourque, Raymond's son has a nice offensive touch averaging a point per game in the AHL this year, Chris also got a look with the Capitals in the NHL this season. M.Santorelli is someone who the Preds like after a great offensive junior career in the WHL, and a great AHL year (70pts- 70games) they gave him a call-up this season. So were hoping mike can make the Preds out of camp next year."

Oskar Osala Joakim Andersson Kendal McArdle- G.M "Oskar is a kid with bigtime potential in our opinion his size (6'4 220lbs) this kid can provide the size from the wing that the NHL Capitals lack he put up 75games 23goals 14assists 37points with Hersey in the AHL, he also did get into action for the Caps this season NHL for a couple games. J.Andersson is the second coming of Sammy Pahlsson as a defensive specialist from the center position, Joakim has signed and is currently playing in the AHL for Grand Rapids. Kendal McArdle is a former first round pick who has had a slow development but we still feel like can turn into a good 3rd line checker/agitator in the NHL with the Panthers who are a team who lacks grit."

Andreas Thurreson Yan Stasny Tom Sestito - " T.Sestito is a fighter who should make the NHL with the jackets, also has a lil hands so could chip in 7-10 NHL goals a year as a heavyweight fighter so a nice asset our team likes as the new sim has a fighting rating. A.Thurreson is a kid we drafted last year after seeing he was a Euro who had played in the AHL the full season the year after being drafted, he posted another productive year for Nashville's AHL team and has potential to become 3rd/4th line role player. Y.Stasny is a career NHL fringe guy who will go up and down from minors for his life."

Defensemen-

Niklas Grossman Taylor Chorney- G.M "We love what N.Grossman is, we see him as M.Norstrom cloned.. - T.Chorney is a mobile d-man who we see becoming the oilers version of a C.Erhoff."

Justin Falk Michael Sauer- G.M " We love J.Falk, we drafted him last season and he has continued to develop and was the lone rookie on the Minnesota AHL team, their coach K.Constaintine is a big fan of his and with him likely moving up to start coaching in Minnesota we expect Falk to get a NHL look very soon. Falk is a Corey Sarich type d-man. M. Sauer is a guy we picked up in a trade near the deadline, as a defensive d-man in the NYR system it was good to see him get the NHL call-up as they battle for NHL postseason this year.Showing the Rangers had the confidence in his defensive game enough to bring him up at crunch time."

Arturs Kulda Josh Godfrey- G.M "A.Kulda is another guy we drafted last season who we are very high on, in the Atlanta NHL system, As a junior he was Zach Bogosian's D-partner in the OHL and we've read alot of reports that he had a wicked Calder Cup run last year, but suffered an injury this year, but we still think in the future could find himself paired with Bogosian, he is a Anton Volchenkov type russian defensive d-man. J.Godfrey is a a prospect we feel has a very very high ceiling, with a 100MPH slapshot and good skating he should be able to make an impact on the NHL on a PP unit in the future.

Jeff May Michael Vernance- G.M " M.Vernance is a guy who got a decent amount of games with the Aves in the NHL after they were hit with injury's he played a decent amount of minutes and showed he has two-way capability as a d-man in the NHL. J.May is a all-around d-man in the Detroit system who after his full WHL career is playing in the AHL now.."

Goalies-

Jeff Deslauriers- G.M " Athletically they dont come much better than this kid, we feel he could finallly be getting the chance where he will be the starter in Edmonton next year in NHL and get 45-55 starts."

Anton Khubodin- G.M " Took the Minnesota starting job in the AHL down the stretch and is in net for their playoffs for K.Constaintine. Kazach native never had a goalie coach before coming to North America, this is a late bloomer who could become the backup in Minnesota NHL as soon as next year depending on the Josh Harding RFA offseason NHL."
