If a BRHL2 player (Brule, Zajac, Latendresse etc) cannot be signed by his BRHL team due to him still being on his NHL ELC, the following will apply.

1. Players will NOT be subject to BRHL RFA poaching by other teams.
2. Once the player has signed an NHL deal, he can sign a new BRHL deal using the new figures.
3. If a player has not signed by the time the BRHL2 season starts, he will sign a 1 year deal at his previous NHL salary
