Playoffs will start Monday night..

There will be a double sim on Friday, and no sim this weekend. Games will start on Monday.

Playoff notes:
- I sim one set of games per day, so one night it will be the West the next will be the East. Alternating to the cup finals.
- I sim a rest day at the end of the day.
- Like the NHL, no cap in the playoffs.
- Games will not be simmed before 8pm EST. And on nights the Penguins are playing the sim will likely take place after the game (Kirk if you bug me during another 3OT game I'm flying up there). 
- Anyone looking to make money for playoff related articles, let me know. I can give you some ideas.

That's all I can think offor now, I will probably add more info as it comes to me. If you have any playoff related questions, post them here.

Will there be a rest day in between the end of the season to the start of the playoffs?

Yes there will be, and will included in the update after tonight's games.

After Superstar Billy G's two goal night the BRHL2 has updated.

-The files for the GM editor will still work, even though they're not the Playoff edition. So submitting line files shouldn't be a problem.


I will be adding a playoff feel to the main page over the weekend in time for the games on Monday.

The final regular season Power Rankings should be up within the next few days as well.


ALSO, ALSO, A L S O. Congrats to the GMs. No Salary Cap Casualties this season. Baloons and cake for everyone.

Why is that a congrats?  Less free agents for the rest of us!

Don't forget, charging your fans extra to get in to the playoff games can earn you a few extra $$$.

Chicago is the only top seeded team that won their first game.... 5th, 6th, 7th and one 8th place teams all won their first games.... could this be the playoffs of the underdogs?

Quick question, I was just browsing through the stats and was wondering on whether you could clear this up for me

Thomas has featured in 80 games and even if we went by minutes played, Thomas has exceeded the maximum minutes allowed (4,320 minutes) by 112 minutes. Dallas's backups Legace and Aubin have only played 528 minutes so I'm wondering shouldn't Thomas have been suspended?

Should be some kind of a penalty, seeing as how I missed the playoffs by 2 points after having to play my backup in the second to last game of the year in order to meet the minutes requirement.

If this is true there should be a significant penalty...
