I know this isn't where it belongs BUT I figured a few GM's might enjoy a little misery for Kirk to made public!

At the beginning of the year Kirk was continually **** talking to me about how great the Oilers were going to be and how crappy the Canucks were, and that there was no way the Canucks could finish ahead of the Oilers especially with the All Star Mathieu Garon in net!  So as the old saying goes Kirk put his money where his mouth is and we made a bet for $100.00 as to which team finished higher in the standings.

Now in January when Luongo was out and the Canucks couldn't win a game I figured thats it I lost the bet, but thankfully the hockey gods seem to be smiling on the Canucks this season (well at least the regular season, we will see about the playoffs!) and tonight with the Canucks winning and the Oilers LOSING AGAIN it has become official, there is no way the Coilers can catch the Canucks in the standings!  With only 5 games remaining and the Oilers currently sitting at 81 points there is absolutely no way they can catch the Canucks, who sit at 93 points even if they won every game they had left (like that would ever happen....LMAO), SO to make a long story short Kirk owes me $100, which I have told him to just send to the league to pay my fees for the next 2 years.
