I'm going to do something a little unorthodox by placing Pascal Leclaire on the auction block.
This is a reserve auction, meaning that if the minimum bid is not met, he will not be moved. Once the reserve price has been met, I will post a message saying so. The best offer above the reserve made by Sunday night (February 15) at 11pm EST wins.
IT SP ST EN DU DI SK PA PC DF SC EX LD OV Pascal LeClaire 86 92 85 76 71 86 79 72 77 NA NA 67 69 80 age: 25 years old contract status: 1 year @ 1,500,000

Why not post the reserved bid so we know where we need to start and save a lot of time. I go to a lot of auctions, reserved bidding always confused me cause most are never met.
I mean what is the point ??

I thought of posting the reserve, but if I said the reserve was a 1st round pick what would that actually mean?
There is a big difference between the 1st pick overall and the 30th pick overall and is there really any difference between the Buf 1 (30th) and the Pit 2 (31st)?
At the end of the day, the reserve is a fair offer... It could be a nice draft pick, a nice prospect, or a combo of picks and/or prospects.

The two offers are pretty close, but I am going to go with the SJ offer as the leading offer as I am quite confident in my ability to draft well (even though it means waiting until 2010).
