i like the crackdown on hooking through the neutral zone, also like the rule change of bringing faceoffs into a team's zone if they've committed a penalty....
the only thing i'm not too pleased about is the revenue sharing... mostly because teams like phoenix and nashville are struggling to maintain the low standards the nhl has set but also because every canadian team is supporting the weaker american....
Not at all, I think it was a waste of a year! I don't see why they couldn't make adjustments to the rules with out wasting a year with out hockey, the rich teams are still the rich teams and the teams that can't afford the big free agents still can't but now they have to pay out more in salary and are forcing themselves into bankruptcy. I guess forcing teams to relocate to better markets might end up being a good thing though!

the lockout was needed. and its been vastly improved.. and it will slowly be compared to the nfl in structure.. even though nfl is the best league around you wont see teams moving.. nhl you still have teams that are in financial trouble... but at least its nothing like the NBA and MLB.. cause we could see a huge time off for both those leagues which will ultimately boost the NHL even more.... so in short... things are only going to get better from here on out.
The NHL is significantly better since the lock out. That said growth and credibility isn't happening because Bettman is a MORON. Until the league fires or gets rid of him it is going to have problem after problem.
i put i dont know.. their is way to much PP time in the new nhl... the pace of the game gets slow in games where zebras take over.. old times players would just curse them down and be able to intimidate them into letting them play hockey,,,
