How do people know you aren't full of it and just trying to inflate the offers?

If I was bidding I would withdraw my bid.

seems to mean that it should be a public auction to me....

Poor form to add a private offer, if your doing an auction like this everything should be made public!

I would have to say that any private bid is null and void. Saying you will take the best offer in this thread means it would have to be posted or there isn't a bid.

I agree with what everyone else is saying. You can't post a guy for public auction, then accept some other offer... It sets a very bad precedent.

Understandable completely..
I don't have a problem saying the offer was Miettinen, Lewis and ?Whitney... Can't remember the third bit...anyways....Lewis and Miettinen are the key bits..There you go...public again.

shouldn't rex be the one posting it? i mean, that offer would put him over the cap unless he made another cap saving deal....

more specifically, i would like to see the actual offer so i know what i'm bidding against

Thanks for clearing that up Jordan,

While there are no hard rules for public auctions, it's nice to see people keeping it honest.
