Finse for trading UFA's

So the fines are based on a certain number of days into the regular season, but are the fines based on sim days, or real days?  Like, its been 86 sim days, but probably over 100 real days.

I always assumed sim days, but then there is something that makes no sense.

Generally the trade deadline is approx 80% of the regular season right?  Well the regular season is 150 sim days, 80% of that is 120.

BUT there are seperate fine amounts for "120 days" and for "trade deadline"... so I am confused

Well I would assume since were on sim day 86, and there are only 29 sim days left making it a total of Game 115 it would mean actual real days rather than sim games. If you read the chart it wouldnt make sense for them to have a chart which is after the deadline if you can't trade then.

Player (OV) 30 Days 60 Days 90 Days 120 Days Trade Deadline
80 or higher $5,000,000 $4,000,000 $3,000,000 $2,000,000 $1,000,000
75 to 79 $4,000,000 $3,000,000 $2,000,000 $750,000
70 to 74 $3,000,000 $2,000,000 $500,000
65 to 69 $2,000,000 $250,000
64 or lower None

that point was raised in the BRHL, not sure how we're going to we are going to view but the schedule in the BRHL changes due to length of time and sometimes the schedule had a trade deadline after 120 sim days....

anyone know what day the regular season started - like, how many real days has it been?  Just curious to know what level the fines are at...

I'm pretty sure it's not regular season start date, but rather days after the end of UFA. Only reason I say that is because in the past people have dealt almost directly after UFA and were fined the max penalty.

Actually I mean sim days. I have no intention of tracking real days when the sim days is the "season".

So anyone dealt before the deadline due to the schedule this season who is in the appropriate category, will be subject to the 120 day fines.

Can I suggest an ammendment to that table:

Player traded less than 30 days is subject to the "30 day" column.
Player traded 30-59 days is subject to the "60 day" column.
Player traded 60-89 days is subject to the "90 day" column.
Player traded from day 90 to 1 week before trade deadline is subject to "120 day" column.
Player traded within the week preceeding the trade deadline is subject to the "trade deadline" column.

I propose this to help teams who are hurtin with losing money and being unable to trade their high priced guys without fines.

I have no issue with that, though lets hear others comments first, but on the basis that looks fine.

Since no-one has been opposed. Beginning Saturday (after the Friday sim) The only penalty for trading signed UFA's is 1 million on players 80ov and higher
