I am looking to make a holiday splash.

I have plenty of cap room (over 5 mil if I need to deal Gerber for minimal return)

I have plenty of prospects that are much closer to the NHL than a lot of the guys we are watching in the WJC right now (Couture, Lewis, Corrente, Blum)

I also have young guys making the NHL right now with varying levels of talent (reddox, kulemin, smid, stortini, brodziak, kennedy)

Other players available are guys having big years in the NHL this year and will be rerated upwards (miettinen, hiller, stoll) or are having similar years and should be rated same or slightly better next year (penner, girardi, hejduk, martin)

I am looking for top UFAs, 77+ dmen or forwards
