Poll Of The Week #1

A weekly installment has made it's way to the BRHL2. Taking on the task of coming up with the pressing questions that face the BRHL2 is none other than George Bachul.  So, without any more hype, here is this weeks poll.

MVP is the player deemed the most valuable to his team. For the first quarter of the season, which player deserves this honour?

Anze Kopitar (BUF)
Daniel Briere (TOR)
Jose Theodore (NYI)
Cristobal Huet (MON)

How isn't Theodore up in the 3 stars rankings?

His GM hates him for ruining their draft position...?  wink

Pitts votes Theodore in an extremely close call with Kopitar.

Both players I feel are terribly rated.

Yes Kopitar is a great player, but a 81 OV at 20 ?,  not a chance.
Same with Theodore at a 79, when he is lucky to even still be in the NHL. Yes he has recovered himself somewhat, but to state he is even that high an OV, even if OV means little, is IMO somewhat elevated.

Theodore gets the nod though, cause although he is getting paid like a Luongo should, he is also playing like a Luongo should !

To get these type of numbers on a bad team from  a goaltender not expected too really do this is ...well worthy of my vote.

Kopitar running away on Sid The Kid is great, but with his OV he is expected to be at or near the top of his team anyhow.

The other two just don't compare !

gotta be Kopitar for me. What he has done is just amazing. I mean he has the talent around him (unlike one of those contenders) but his goals so far have just been unreal.

I voted Kopitar too. The leader of the best team usually gets the nod, and he is head and shoulders above everyone else.

I picked Kopitar too.  Something special is brewing in Bufalo this year.

Goals???  He's like 7th in the league - no big deal as far as I am concerned... however, his points are impressive.

I vote Theodore

voted theodore, to have eric above 500 is nuts. (a nice lil 5 point spread from 9th place in conference aswell)

theodore's numbers are awesome for playing on a team like the isles, but kopitar has been involved on about 40% of buffalo's goals... in my opinion, that's better...

I voted for Theo for sure Kopitar has tons of talent around him and if Buffalo lost him for the season it honestly wouldn't hurt him that much but if NYI loses Theo they are screwed! (No offense Eric)
