Penguins finally show form in Nashville thrashing defeating the home team 7 - 2.
It's been a long time coming says coach Paul Maurice. We have been holding our heads up and working hard, but have always come up short. Tonight we seemed to find our edge and they looked great doing it.
Super performances were played by role players such as Josef Stumpel and Mike Sillinger. Expected performances came at the hands of our stars, and solid defence and great goaltending form our number 2 Manny Fernandez. Added mention goes to super rookie Sergei Kostitsyn.
Hopefully we can keep this type of play up and make some head wave in the league. Playoff teams are not too far ahead, and we feel playing to our potentials can get us there.
Rumours have it that Paul needed to win that gamew last night and could still be in the owners dog house. Other rumours have Pittsburgh possibly moving for a d man or a rwinger although cap space is realy at a premium right now.
