The Buffalo Sabres came away with a 8-2 victory tonight against the Kings of Los Angeles. However, in a game where they went 5 for 5 on the powerplay, the real story came from Sophomore Anze Kopitar.
Kopitar who was the league leader in scoring and assists coming in to Wednesday night's game had a game for the ages..Kopitar had not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, but 5 grapes -he also added 2 apples. On a day when the Sabres score 8 goals, Kopitar was in on 7 of them.
The 7 point game puts kopitar 8 points above the next highest scorer not even 10 games into the season.
