After a great start to the season, Nashville was shown why they are definately not in the same league as the Elite.... the score would somewhat seem like a close affair but the Flyers truly showed why they are one of the teams to beat this BRHL season.
Vesa Toskala would once again start the season and once again face another big nite in shots almost getting 40 on him. GM Barbosa would know that the key would be to capatilize on every scoring chance they get and he was still quite proud even though their 0-5 power play they did get 3 goals on All star goalie Roberto Luongo
Philly got their secondary scoring into gear as number 1 star Miiko Koivu got 3 points including the GWG 5 minutes into the 3rd period.. and that period would be the downfall of the Preds, perhaps they were short of legs on the back to back games to start the season and the travel up to philly. up to point it was 1-1 and Radim Vrbata netted his team leading 4th goal of the season. however in a blink of an eye it was 4-1 but they did mount a comeback to make it 4-3 however another stupid penalty this time to Todd Bertuzzi with 2 minutes left.... put Nashville shorthanded for the rest of the game and were unable to pull Toskala with the score being a 4-3 final.
Nashville now will get a nice 4 day rest and will head to the sunshine state to play the Panthers.
