Carter reached 30 goal plateau in half the time as last year...I knew he'd break out, I just didnt know it would take this long and be this big. On pace for 54 goals, Carter could be the biggest player on the trade block in the offseason. Then again, he could stick around.

To show people that trading with me isn't something you're necessarily going to lose at- i was close to dealing carter on a number of occasions. That didn't mean I didn't thinK he was was capable of this; fact, i thought he was going to break out sooner like the richards, parise's of the class but it just took him a bit longer.
