Any GM who has been following the transactions since trading has opened up can see LA is in a full re-build mode. They have dealt much of there established NHL talent for younger cheaper faces and are looking to continue with that.
There aren't many guys left but Dan Boyle and Raffi Torres are actively being shopped along with the Cal 2nd and Chi 3rd in the 08 draft.
