With the first overall pick in the upcoming draft, the Bruins have been eerily quite on the recruitment front. The team also holds the 4th ov pick in the draft but thus far have only interviewed to draft eligible stars. On Tuesday night, a reporter spotted the two, along with GM Bryce Shuck and goaltender Ryan Miller, at a local resteraunt, mucking it up over ****tails.
It has been speculated in the Boston media that the team has traded up from 4 to the 2 spot, but those reports are not confirmed. It is interesting to note however, the absence of Pascal LeClaire from all team functions in the last few weeks.
With Kane and Gagner in town, the rumours have only escalated. Have the Bruins moved into the 2 spot and do they hold the top 2 picks?? That would be quite a shot in the arm to infuse this already young lineup with a couple of players of their quality.
Let the rumour mill churn, it is unlikely we will find anything further out until trading opens.
