The thrashers made a major move the team has traded young cornerstone player jordan staal along with picks in the 09 draft to toronto so he can play with his brother marc staal.. coming back to atlanta is young forward Peter Muehller who will look to team with Kyle Okposo to form a beauty pair of american forwards for the Thashers..

While I agree Mueller right now might carry more value, at the end of the day this total package will turn out to lean heavily in Toronto's favor. IMO and Kirk is aware of that fact, he just needed the C/W with more offensive upside for this season.
i agree with ur opinion garret. down the road 4-5 years i think this will look strongly in your favour. but for all 3 yrs of his ELC i think Mueller will be >> staal... Jordan is stuck in a third line role in pittsburg, where Peter IMO has 100pt potential..
i had alot of picks and felt i could make the move to bring in a player i really really liked, and gained another yr on a elc contract as mueller will be 800k for a year where staal will be 3-4 mill +...
