David Yee vs. George Bachul

I don't know if anyone will see it down here....but Dave and I are in another league together and it is a very competitive league with some solid GMs.

In a hard fought season, it appears the cream rose to the top....and it is Dave and I head to head in the finals.

I give him a solid edge, but my team has some chemistry....I beat one of the best teams in the league in a sweep....

If you want you can follow the finals at www.diehardhockey.ca

I am the Rangers and Dave is the Oilers.

Good luck Dave....or should I say...good luck me...I think I will need it.

so? i'm not embarrassed, i've found that george ranks as one of the best gms i've ever played against in FHL... when i first joined, he was always willing to be a second opinion on offers....

it does make it a pain to attempt a trade between me and him though :P

since dave is such an accomplished GM, we should try to get him an open spot when a few teams come available in this league...

although if he happens to deal his best player to george at the trade deadline and then quit within a week or 2, I will probably be a little bit pissed.... not that anyone would do something like that...

I doubt that either Dave or I would give up on what we built up.  In any event, I am known well enough in FHL circles that I don't have to worry about something like that Rex.

Thanks for the kind words G, always looking to help out a fellow GM if I can.  thumb.gif

No offense to Dave, but the scratch you guys have made from this season's cup run pays him at least 1 years fees, and any GM with any kind of a brain (or testicles) would want to test his mettle, rather than sharing a team...

And I agree he is a good GM, so in the interests of bettering THIS league, I think he should/would want to do it...

Personally I would rather have Dave on my side than against me...lol.  As for the money this year?  I have no idea how much that is going to be, but let's just say the Hawks will be around for a while...lol.

Back on topic....the Rangers come up with a huge split at Rexall.
