Fact....this year we tried to address it numerous times. The cost was just a little out there for us. But he is still rated well and should be next year as well.
George will see significant rating increases as well with players like markov and Green.
however, I he'll have to be looking for a few younger cheaper players with contracts like Markov and Gabby coming up.
I see markov getting a MIN of 5.5 and thats only for 1 year at a 79 rating. I personally think he's going to be near 80 and over 3 years could cost 6 million.
Gabby makes around 6.75 in real life so will be a min of 5.5 as well.
Not to mention JP Dumont, Bieksa, Sturm, frolov, and backstrom all seeing around 2 million dollar raises. I'd guestimate around 15 M increase from the 43.5 but thats just a guess. However, keep in mind the new cap will be 50 M so he really only needs to cut it down 8 million. Am I pretty close with that?

We do have some moves to make that is for certain. I don't think it is dire though....but it will all be worth it if we win this year.
backstrom's leadership and experience did puzzle me, as he is still a relatively new goalie to the nhl... i understand he's played for the finnish national team, but i did not think that counted in the ratings.... a goalie with high LD and EX will do well in the playoffs... that's what i'm hoping for with nabakov for next year anyways
