I'm two points behind Columbus, they have the tiebreak (5 wins to 3) and more wins overall, I beat them in GD. Yet they haven't secured the 8th spot in the West. As I am the only team within catching distance, if I win my last game against the Rangers, will the sim pick me instead of Columbus?
In XtraStats, in the final games (usually the last week) the standings page isn't totally accurate with their playoff and difivision clinch markers. I don't know why it happens, but it does.
The statistical numbers on the page are accurate. But sometimes the X, Y and Z's aren't there when they should be.

Yeah, the simple answer is: the sim is too lazy to figure out the tiebreaker, so it doesnt throw the X in there until the points cannot be achieved or after the last game is played....
As well as the seedings aren't correct in the standings. But, come sim time they are corrected. Just another glitch that it sometimes doesn't recognize divisional seedings.
