Oh my ladies and gentleman, what do we have here...... Oh its the New York Rangers who finished dead last in the league last season and dealt with all kinds of scrutiny reguarding my numerous trades and changing gears midseason from trying to make a run at the playoffs to a massive rebuild. Our club turns around and wins the farm league championship, I held 2 of the top 3 best deals in the league, and had the highest amount of top 50 prospects and recieved one of the top payouts last season for my labor.
Then here comes season 2, same formula, we load up through free agency and moving youngsters for another run at making the playoffs only to change gears again midseason when the competition was too stiff. Along came the scrutiny and nay-sayers again reguarding too many trades, and too many trades with Kirk who happens to be as busy as I am and hardworking. So I went young, cheap and long contracts, and all the chemistry came together and now the Rangers GM Joe DesMarais looks like a genius with 90pts and a #6 seed for the playoffs. Going from #30 to #11 overall in just one year is remarkable. Yes I give all the credit in the world to Buffalo for making a bigger jump than me technically but I did it with style and a relentless effort at bettering my club. I am far ahead of expectations with my club and after the rerates and my youngsters coming into thier out the Rangers are looking for a top 4 position next year in the East. Our club on paper is heavily overmatched going into the playoffs but we've been severly overmatched on paper all year and it will be the Rangers not the Bruins, etc that will be fighting for Lord Stanley. Good luck to everyone in the playoffs and keep an eye out for my boys. I'm so proud and excited I cant contain myself.
Im so confused how you can say you wen t from #30 to 11th... You didnt even finish 30th, or 29th last year... I cant remember the standings after that but I know Buffalo was 30th and LA was 29th... Pretty sure SJ or someone else that CHI had the pick for was 28th too...
Either way, nice work.

Thanks Luke, I should have known the exact-ness of where I finished would be scrutinized. It was bottom 3 or 4 I guess, but either way thanks man I know you appreciate my hard work and where i'm taking my club, as I do yours. Keep up the good work boys-Joe NYRGM
