The RFA age this year is 29 but Why does the RFA age decrease each year?
each of those contract years are with 1 year left on their contract. Last year I thought Pronger and a bunch of others were UFA's but he was 30 with 1 year left.
It's just the way bryce and eric decided to do it last year and is fundamental to our league structure.

K next question, do the ages of the players change before the RFA signing period?
Example: Morrow
If i sign him this year (for next year) to say 2.9 million for 1 year at age 27. He will then be age 28, with a 1 year deal and thus again RFA at the end of season 3.
