Pronger nowhere near being the captain because of his shady ass rep... not something Team Canada with about 15 better options (thornton, crosby, etc.) would ever want to, or ever have to, deal with.

there's definitely going to be speculation that crosby would be captain, hopefully that won't happen... mainly because although you want a captain to lead by example, crosby wouldn't get any respect as captain...
evans21.. The people speculating on Crosby being captain will be clutching at straws, trying to sell stories or papers, and reporters and talk show hosts and people with nothing to do but speculate...
The people that make the decisions though will be looking at this speculative list of players that will be featured on Team Canada in 2010.
All of them have more experience being captain of there own teams, several teams, team Canada in World Championships, etc, etc, etc...
