This from two sources as the Leafs continue to poke around......As Giguere is a highly sought after commodity for most contenders, I hear the Leafs are listening to offers. I hear that the Canucks, Hawks and Thrashers might be interested.
Just talked to another scout who confirmed the Yotes have had discussions about Brian Pothier because of his strong start with +6 in their first 10 games.
Again these are all just rumours...and my job is to simply try and put out as much as I hear from talking to various sources. That is what I do. Most never happen, but I can tell you that for everything I hear that is being discussed there are at least ten other possibilities being discussed that I don't hear.
And many of the things I hear are partial, and many others are contigency plans for later if certain variables fall where they may...
UPDATE....teams still sniffing around Fedorov but it all depends on if they are willing to pay the price.
