I was just taking a look at the stats, and noticed that Luc Bourdon was leading all rookies with 5 points in 3 games. Thought to myself, pretty damn good, but wanted to see what kind of rating he had. Then I see that he's suspended for the remainder of the season with no contract. Just wondering what's going on? It seems he's still playing for New Jersey because he's listed as third-pairing defenseman for the team.
Another point is Jordan, how the hell are you getting 5 points from Luc Bourdon on your third pairing? And will you tell me how you're doing it?
I've run into a similar glitch in another league where I was doing the simming. I think it's because NJ had lines which included Bourdon, then he was suspended, then no new lines were sent in. As a result, there is some sort of a bug where the guy can continue to play that position until new lines are sent in with him recognized as suspended.
Dave Bolland is also suspended for 82 games and is shown as having no contract despite having been received in a trade earlier this fall. When I traded for him he was not a prospect, so he must have had a 3-year entry level contract before he was traded to me...
