I just thought there could be a thread people could pimp (for lack of a better word) their players if they have a good night.

Girardi logged 22 mins+ for the Rangers tonight- tops for dmen
EJ with a solid rookie performance and 18 mins.

Setoguchi sat today- very suprising old man roenick and mitchell made the start over him. Expect him to be in the lineup shortly.

then there's no need to sticky if posted daily!

if not regularly used, it'll drop down the page

(not like it's for reference or anything)

Pascal LeClaire shutsout the defending Stanley Cup Champions, on an unrelated note, 3 trade offers have came in last night. Funny how that works.

Torrey Mitchell gets his first point of the year for the Sharks, definetely a steal in the mid-late rounds last season.

Brownie with 2 Gs and 1 A tonight to make it 2+2 in 3 games so far- he's finished where he left off at the end of last year (scoring 13 points in 13 games).

Ej potted his first NHL goal.

Carter had a nice baseball like goal.

Nagy with his first apple as a King

Rolston with 3 apples.

Oh yeah...that guy name Anze...he's not bad too..

Dang, Sabres had a sick night. Now we just need Niklas Backstrom (G) to get hurt so harding can take over :)

Wow, how about that Mike Comrie? 4G, 2A in two games against the Sabres, who have had the Isles number the past few years.

And how about the Isles in general? Two wins to start the season, four more points than anyone expected them to have right now.

Looks like the Sabres are really missing Drury. They have lots of skill so losing Briere wasn't that big a deal but they need a guy like Drury to close out games.

I've watched bits and pieces of both Washington games and I am really liking what I'm seeing. Ovechkin looks fired up and they finally have some scoring depth. I see them making a big push for a playoff spot.

Ottawa 3-0, including a shutout against the Rangers. They will surely be tops in the East.

Calgary 0-2, both games at home. Keenan not improving this team yet. Kipper hasn't looked good either.

actually 0-1-1 :D

and the team does look improved from last year

but you're correct kipper hasn't looked stellar yet- now maybe we'll get him to sign for a bit less:D

We will take the credit for him....here is a recap of Round 22 in the original draft...

NYI Ben Clymer
Montreal Andreas Lilja
Los Angeles Matt Bradley
Toronto Evan McGrath
New Jersey
Washington Nolan Yonkman
Colorado Jiri Slegr
Columbus Keith Carney
Minnesota Brett McLean
NYR Branko Radijevic
Nashville Sean O'Donnell
Vancouver Sean Burke
Anaheim Jaroslav Balastik
Tampa Bay Jon Sim
Carolina Konstantin Pushkarev
Calgary Niklas Hagman
Ottawa Glen Wesley

And sure, it would be nice to have him, but with him, we ended up with a top 5 pick and flipped those picks into Lecavalier, and other top players.wink
