Please tell me this didnt happen.. the Nashville Preds who aren't suppose to contend this season finsihed the pre season on top of the western conference standings which is bizarre considering the depth of talent they do not have for this coming season..

and being this was only preseason.. can we really be talking about expectations of a playoff spot this season..  we lost out on the playoffs on teh final regular season day last yr. and couldn't decide all yr whether to push or whether to play for next season and looks like with the scores that we had so far in divisional games. we might be in the same boat this season
