Free Agency has begun. Expect an update in an hour.
If you'd like to negotiate with your recently created prospects, and haven't done so already, please send your offers in. Please consult the rules for contract specifics. (I was planning on taking care of it last week, but had to go away for a few days).

What is this prospect creation? This is only for prospects from your prospect list that you want in the AHL sim right?
If this is right then the answer to your question, Atlanta, is no. Entry level contracts have been discussed in other forums. Generally the longest you can do is 3 years and as they get older it goes to 2 years and then 1.
That should be changed, its against the ELC rules unless hes over 27 and even at that, those rules havent been defined yet. It shold only be 1 year deal according to NHL rules.
Not quite, its confusing after they get over 27...
Really, they are UFAs and i think are only eligible for 1 year entry level deals cause its their first contract. Go read around Ive posted it like 10 times.
Some may wish to change the rules for the following season, but it is a rule in the BRHL2:
VIII. Prospects
B. All entry contracts will be for 3 years, the only exception is when a player is 29 years old at time of creation he signs a 2 year deal, when 30 he signs a 1 year deal and any older than 30 he signs a 4 year deal. The reason being a team should have the rights of a drafted player of theirs for as long as possible.
