Rumors have it a big announcement is forthcoming from the Phoenix Coyotes franchise.  One can only hope that the announcement will be to introduce a new GM as the team has been GMless for longer than any would have liked.

It's confirmed, the Phoenix Coyotes have hired Steve Vardy as their new GM.

Vardy comes with many years FHL experience and most importantly, a willingness to take this team which is in a complete shambles and work hard to make it a contender.

Welcome aboard. Your franchise isnt in "shambles" IMO. You have some decent tools to work with, I think a good GM could make this franchise very strong in a short time span.
