XVIII. Captains
XVIII. Captains

      A. Captains must have a LD (Leadership) of 75 or above.

      B. Alternates must have a LD of 70 or above.

      C. No player 24 years or younger may be a captain or alternate unless documentation can be proven that he is one in the NHL.

      D. When a captain or alternate is traded, another CANNOT be named. The traded player will lose his LD boost on his new team.

      E. Captains and alternates can be reset at the beginning of each season.

      F. Captains will receive a +5 LD, while alternates will receive +2 LD.

      G. Under no circumstances can a replacement be named due to injury, demotion, trade or any other player movement.

This thread is fine and will cut down on the amount of e-mail i have to keep up on.  However, I must urge you to acknowledge that all your decisions for Captains / Alternates are final. They CANNOT be switched to other players at the result of a trade or your discretion.

So with that being said, feel free to list your C's and A's:

Major offseason moves sees the New York Islanders with actually a different core of captains than initially predicted.

Ted Nolan announced today that the official list of captains for the NYI this season is:

CAPTAIN  Robert Lang

ALTERNATE  Richard Park

ALTERNATE  Chris Simon

Nashville has decided to name their Captains and Alternates this upcoming season

Marcus Naslund will be the captain heading into season 2...

Alternates are Michael Nylander, and Mathieu Dandenault
