What are you doing?

Some people spend time on their predraft- just because you don't have any picks doesn't mean you need to educate the lazy.

Took a lot of crossreferencing work to do. Enjoy! There is one or two diamonds in that rough.

I'm gonna be on vacation this weekend and may or may not be at the draft, depending if I can pull off a multiple late round pick acquisition.

There is also a list of European prospects heading over to N.A., but I won't be in a hurry to share that list. smile

Are you kidding?

Some g.m.s are busy and to provide some research on picks that ANYONE can make provides a service to the league. Having a couple of g.m.s snap up the lion's share of prospects is not in the league's best interests. Look at your own prospect rankings!! Over half the league has bare cupboards of prospects. Don't be so greedy Buffalo! Geez.

Kinda annoying that I did that reserach too and someone just put up the list for no reason.

Geez, nice of a guy with no picks to post out multiple possible late round steals and gems...

Honestly, what are you thinking?

This deserves a fine in my opinion

Relax guys he was trying to help out and frankly I don't see anyone that a) wasn't obvious ala Moss or b)that is going to make a big impact and yes I already knew about 90% of these players.

Personally I find it commendable.  In the NHL there is a master list of eligibles.  Good work NYI.

I have to say I lean more torwards the side of not sharing. I think it hurts the research and work that other GMs do.

I understand that some leagues will have master lists. But for the most part there isn't one for the BRHL2.

I think that it sets a bad precedent. It allows GMs to depend on a list and not work for a draft. If we were to issue a master list annually, we'd likely see a little drop in preperation. As well as if we dropped doing a list, we'd also hurt some GMs who counted on it.

Overall, I'm speaking a little bit in the future, but I don't think it's a good practice. Let the GMs seperate themselves from each other. Last time I checked the skill set from each GM wasn't a level playing field.

If that were the case, there wouldn't be a need for NHL Central Scouting.  GMs have a staff of plenty in the NHL, we have a staff of one or two.

I don't care if there is either way, but to chastise someone for offering their effort isn't right.
